Halloween Craft Night

Book Swap and Used Book Sale
Come sell or swap your gently used books at our Book Swap and Used Book Sale event! Your $5 table fee includes a $5 Fable Tree Bookshop store credit redeemable same day only.
Set your own prices or plan to trade with others. Keep everything you make, there’s no percentage of sales due to the shop.
Use a Mercantile table (small and square) or bring your own if you want a larger space.
Anything that remains unsold must be taken away same day—do not leave books in The Merc.
Recommendations:
-Bring books in very good condition
-Any genre is fine, including children’s books
-Make your prices clear using tags or a sign. Decide how you’ll take payment—cash only, Venmo/PayPal, etc.
-Be set up and ready to sell by 10AM. You can come as early as 9:00AM. Sales begin at 10:00AM
-Feel free to share about your table or the event in general on social media—the more shoppers who come in, the more sales you’ll make!

Read to a Therapy Dog + Children's Story Time
We have story time every Wednesday and Saturday at 10AM, but this one on Wednesday, July 30 will be extra special: therapy dog Tory and her handler Becky Haas will be attending, and Tory would really love for kids to read stories to her!
To make sure this event is comfortable for everyone, Tory and Becky will be set up on the stage/front porch at The Merc, while story time as usual will happen inside the shop--this means that dog-shy kids and those who can't read yet are very welcome!
Those who would like to read to Tory can bring a book from home or choose one from the shop to share with our furry friend, and take their turn.
We can't wait to see everyone for this very special story time!
