Join us for a Banned Books Week Read-In, where we celebrate the freedom to read and the stories that challenge, inspire, and connect us.
Bring your favorite banned or challenged book—or choose one from our shop—and settle in for an hour of shared reading, reflection, and conversation. Whether you read quietly in a corner, take a turn reading aloud, or simply listen and soak in the words that have sparked change, you’ll be part of a powerful act of literary resistance.
We’ll have:
-A bookstore full of books that are frequently banned or challenged
-Complimentary tea and coffee
-Free bookmarks, stickers, and pins
-A free audiobook courtesy of Libro.fm (Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books)
Celebrate the right to read freely—and the stories that refuse to be silenced.
No ticket or RSVP needed.
