Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of character arc as the driving force of engaging fiction, use those fundamentals to create one or more original characters, and complete a rough short story draft. Participants will be able to share their characters and drafts with each other and receive feedback if they choose, and they will also receive additional resources for further study and practice.

Please bring whatever writing tools you prefer: laptop, paper and pencil, etc.

About the Instructor:

Michele Reisinger's short fiction has appeared in Across the Margin,  Stories That Need to be Told, Sunspot Literary Journal, Dreamers Creative Writing, and others.  She  lives near Philadelphia with her family and never enough books. Find her at mereisinger.com.
